Caplat writes, “As far as I am concerned, I can only say that I have never been told of your resignation and Rudi tells me that he, too, was quite unaware that you had resigned as Artistic Director. The Christies had not mentioned it to him, nor apparently did you mention it to him when you saw him a little while ago.”
