- Moran Caplat writes, “I am afraid there must be some sort of misunderstanding. I am sure you will remember that never in Glyndebourne’s history were either you or anybody else except the chief conductor, that was Busch, together with the management, responsible for the choice and engagement of coaches. Not having Busch this time, I think it must be left to the management though, as you know, we are only too happy to consult with you on all these matters and listen to your advice.”
