Britten and Crozier write, “The chief point of misunderstanding between us seems to be about the position of Charles Ebert as artistic director of Glyndebourne and as producer…It is clear to us that you cannot accept anything for Glyndebourne unless it is fully under his direction. This loyalty we appreciate and admire.”
