Firstly, they are not “New Look” and secondly, the weather at Glyndebourne in the Spring , will probably be far from warm.”

Will you be able to find flowers for the dining hall and for the corners of the stage? I hope so, because they do make such a difference. I realise the pot plants will not be ready, but seeing that the concerts are only for two days at a time perhaps you can do something with cut flowers and shrubs.”
